We've expanded our team!

Anna Marano

AnnaMaranoAnna Marano was born and raised in Amherstburg, Ontario, to a family of Italian immigrants. Food was, and is, everything to them. She has always loved cooking, baking, and experimenting in her own kitchen, so it felt natural to turn to cooking after university and a small stint in publishing. After attending the Stratford Chefs School she remained in Stratford working at a variety of restaurants, which included both fine dining and family bistros. She believes food is an artistic and emotional expression, and a sign of togetherness, which is why she truly loves what she does.

Simon Briggs

SimonBriggsBorn and raised in Scotland, Simon Briggs graduated from Stratford Chefs School in 2011 and has worked in various establishments in Stratford, Guelph, Kitchener, and London. His style of food is steeped in traditional French technique and would be described as classic bistro. Simon was previously an instructor with Stratford Chefs School for 7 years teaching both Level 1 Pastry and Cookery, as well as at the London Training Centre for 2 years as a chef instructor. In his free time, Simon is an avid gardener growing a variety of vegetables, but his main focus is on microgreen production.
